He's been dubbed the godfather of nu-skool breaks. He's been causing a stir with his live breaks outfit The TCR Allstars. And he's not afraid to throw a bit of live instrumentation into his DJ sets. It's no wonder then that the Beatz & Bobz crew turned to Rennie Pilgrem to mix their 10th anniversary CD earlier this year.

So armed with his laptop, a synth and a live MC, Rennie took over the infamous Cavern Club in Exeter and recorded a live set for the B&B birthday release. If you want to hear breaks at their best, look no further. So when Rennie appeared in Glasgow for a gig at Camouflage at the Soundhaus, EQTV saddled up and followed him along.
