EQTV: autodisco

Dundee’s not the first stop on many clubbing maps, but if the city keeps producing nights like Autodisco, we reckon it should be. Set up by Barry Reeves of Deep Freeze Recordings and Dave Bowie of Might Robot, Autodisco promises to deliver an upfront blend of disco, electro and italo through its promoter residents and some top-drawer guests such as Optimo’s Twitch. The night opened in style with Barry joining his Electronic Boogie Band cohort Calum Walker for a slick and slink live set, while Dave slipped behind the decks in his iamelectron guise for some fast-flowing, genre-hopping action…
